The stone was first discovered in Sweden in the 1830s. It was named from the Latin "Thule" - which was a term used by ancient Greeks and Romans to refer to the then-little-known lands to the north or present day Scandinavia. Metaphysically, Thulite is very similar to Rose Quartz. It encourages unconditional self-love and acceptance.
